The Blue Lotus Dance Co. needs additional dancers for their expanding professional Bollywood, Bellydance and Russian Gypsy dance repertoire!  Directed by the famous Russian dancer Nalini, Blue Lotus has taken Seattle by storm in the last two years and is looking for several semi-pro- and professional-level dancers to train in the style and choreographies and to perform in upcoming shows!  Many of the performances are in and around the Seattle area and Pacific Northwest, however there will be travel opportunities as well.

Dancers need not have direct experience in these dance styles, though it would be helpful.  Dancers do need to have at least intermediate-to-advanced dance experience in some style (significant ballet and/or modern dance training is a plus) because an understanding of body mechanics, choreography, and dancing within a group is required.  Due to costume restrictions and group uniformity, we have a few physical requirements:

Max height: 5'6"
Max age: 30
Max hip circumference: 39”
